Someone else would have thrown away these fingers, Ayanda kept all her specimens in the same carefully cleaned peanut butter jar. She liked the idea. She’d never lost a sock in her life. Ayanda had always wanted more fingers. Just think! She would be able to type faster, play the piano like a master, wear more rings and eat with more chopsticks. This would help with the immense workload every day. She might even be named employee of the month. The possibilities were endless.
